We are looking for a Site Manager to come on board and manage all the Planned Works, Refurb contracts in the London. Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operation of the major works projects.

Daily responsibilities for the successful Site Manager will include:

• Set up site prior to the commencement of project work
• Plan projects and ensure they meet agreed specifications, budget and timescales
• Oversee building work
• Liaising with clients and reporting progress, professional staff (such as architects and surveyors) and the public
• Supervising direct labour and contracted staff
• Meeting subcontractors
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Ensure timesheets are accurate and agreed with line manager

The Driver will use one of the company vehicles and will assist the team with transporting materials, waste resources, tools, purchased items and team members between multiple sites. You may also be asked to help with other adhoc duties.

You must be able to communicate effectivly and follow the direction of others when required. When not driving you will be helping the team complete manual tasks. You must be reliable and trustworthy as you will have the responsibility to order and collect materials.

You will be supplied a company vehicle with fuel, parking and all other charges paid. You will be expected to hold a full clean driving licence and have a valid CSCS card as a minumum.

The applicant must be:

• Willing to help out where necessary.
• Able to lift materials in and out of a van (sometimes heavy).
